Open the Parent Portal sign-in page
- On your phone or laptop, go to albayaanacademy.lovable.app/auth.
- You can also tap “Parent Login” at the top of any page on the website.
Parent Portal
How to set up and use your Parent Portal
A short guide to creating your account, linking your child and following their attendance, homework and weekly progress. It takes about two minutes to set up.
Before you start
- A phone, tablet or laptop with internet — nothing to download.
- The email address you gave the academy when registering your child.
- Your child's full name and date of birth, in case we need to match records.

Create your account
- Tap “Create account”.
- Full name — the parent or guardian's name, as given to the academy at registration.
- Email — please use the same email address you gave us when you registered your child. This is how we match your child to your account.
- Password — choose your own, at least 6 characters. Nobody at the academy can see it.
- You can also tap “Continue with Google” if that email is the one we hold for you.

Get your child linked to your account
- Once your account is created, the academy links your child (or children) to it.
- If your portal says you have no children yet, message the academy admin with your name, your child's full name and date of birth, and the email you signed up with.
- Families with several children see all of them — switch between them at the top of the dashboard.

Follow your child's progress
- Progress — weekly notes from the teacher: what your child covered, the subject and any comments, grouped by academic term.
- Attendance — every session marked by the teacher, with the attendance percentage for the year.
- Homework — tasks set by the teacher, with due dates.
- Messages — write directly to your child's teacher and the academy.
What you will see inside
Progress
Weekly teacher updates by term, plus a full-year summary of your child's journey.
Attendance
Present, late, excused and absent marks with your child's overall attendance percentage.
Homework
What has been set, when it is due and any note from the teacher.
Messages
A private line to the teacher and the academy office.
Your family's privacy
- You only ever see your own children's records — never another family's.
- The class register and teacher tools are not visible to parents.
- Keep your password private, and tell us straight away if your email changes.
Questions
I have signed in but I cannot see my child.
This almost always means the email you signed up with is different from the one we have on your child's record. Message the academy admin with your child's full name, date of birth and the email you used, and we will link them the same day.
I have more than one child at the academy.
All of your children appear on the same account. Use the child selector at the top of the dashboard to switch between them.
I forgot my password.
Message the academy admin and we will reset it for you.
Can I see the class register or other children?
No. The register is for teaching staff only. You only ever see your own children's records.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It works in your phone's browser. Add the website to your home screen if you would like it to open like an app.
